What is Hangout?

Hangout is Go Business’ program for those who have recently started a business that needs a kickstart or have a small side business alongside studies or work that they want to develop further. It is a digital pre-incubator aimed at exploring your vision and growing into your role as an entrepreneur. In Hangout, you have the opportunity to further explore your business idea, learn more about creative entrepreneurship, and become part of a community with other entrepreneurs.

You do the work – we provide new knowledge, coaching, and the Go Business community. Everything happens digitally, and you can participate regardless of where in northern Sweden you live.

Who is it for?

Go Business exists for those who want to make a living from their passion here in northern Sweden and who want to grow as entrepreneurs. Hangout is aimed at those who run their own business and want to move forward, with their base in Norrbotten or Västerbotten. You have the idea, the expertise, and the drive – we help you become an entrepreneur.

Jessica Forsén runs HR-kompassen and participated in the Go Business Hangout program during the spring of 2021.

What is included in the offer?

The Hangout offer includes:

  • A digital lecture and workshop series in five parts
  • A check-in session with a business developer
  • Access to an inclusive Go Business Community with current and former program participants, as well as our partners from the business sector.

What is the cost?

You invest with your own time and commitment. The program is free of charge for participants and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Piteå Science Park, Region Norrbotten, Region Västerbotten, Sparbanken Nord, Luleå Municipality, Piteå Municipality, Skellefteå Municipality, Boden Business Park, Övertorneå Municipality, Jokkmokk Municipality, Vilhelmina Municipality, and Kalix Municipality.
