A Success Story

The Go Business concept was born from a study conducted on student culture in Piteå in 2008. To foster entrepreneurship, there was a desire for a social and physical meeting place where new entrepreneurs could develop and grow their business ideas with the support and help of one another. Based on this idea, an incubator was launched as a pilot project.

Go Business has existed in its current form since 2008, with its offices located at Acusticum in Piteå Science Park. Since then, the incubator has expanded in size, scope, content, and locations. Initially, it focused exclusively on new entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. Today, we support the entire service sector, welcoming all kinds of ideas—from creators to engineers. Our participants come from diverse industries and age groups, and Go Business has become a well-known name throughout the region.

As interest in the incubator and its methods has grown, new services have been gradually developed. Today, Go Business has offices at Piteå Science Park, Mobilaris Innovation Center in Luleå, and The Great Northern in Skellefteå. Go Business is fully digital, meaning that entrepreneurs can receive support from us no matter where they are in northern Sweden.

Since 2008, over 450 entrepreneurs have taken the opportunity to develop their businesses with the support of Go Business Incubator. A large number of them continue to operate as full-time or part-time entrepreneurs today.
